U.S. cargo ship hit by missile

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Organization said that a U.S.-owned bulk carrier was struck by a missile near the Gulf of Aden within the past hour (9:45 a.m. Eastern).

The captain of M/V Gibraltar Eagle reports the port side of the ship was hit by the missile. The vessel and crew are safe.
