USS Mason Shoots Down Houthi Weapons

The guided missile destroyer USS Mason successfully intercepted one drone and an anti-ship ballistic missile in the southern Red Sea on Thursday.

U.S. Central Command said the drone and missile, reportedly launched by Iran-allied Houthi rebels, were neutralized without causing any damage to nearby ships or injuries.

This is the 22nd attempted attack by Houthis on international shipping since Oct. 19.
