Published on

The aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan is arriving in San Diego today, Oct. 5, after departing Bremerton, Washington.

Reagan was seen entering San Diego Bay past Ballast Point Monday morning Pacific Daylight Time.

Reagan entered dry dock at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard on March 17, 2025, for an extensive maintenance and modernization period. It is now beginning the training and certification work needed to return the ship and crew to operational readiness.

Her arrival comes just days before USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) is expected to return to San Diego following its extended deployment. Lincoln is expected to arrive Thursday around noon.

The Military Report will update this story as additional information becomes available.
